How many times have you grilled vegetables or fish wrapped in foil? How many aluminum pots do you own? How many aluminum cans are in your pantry right now?
If you’re like most people, aluminum is a metal that you use every day without giving it a second thought, but it’s actually a lot more dangerous than you might think. That’s because aluminum is actually a neurotoxin than accumulates in your organs, where it causes all sorts of health problems.
Even if you do your best to avoid cooking with aluminum or buying food packaged in it, you’re not out of the woods. A public health statement by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry states that the average adult in the U.S. eats somewhere in the range of 7 to 9 milligrams of aluminum every day in their food. It is sometimes added during the processing of foods like flour, coloring and anticaking agents, and baking powder. We’re also exposed to small amounts in the air we breathe, particularly in industrial and urban areas, as well as drinking water and consumer products like antacids, buffered aspirin, and deodorant.
It can also be found in some vaccines, which is yet another factor to take into consideration when deciding if you should vaccinate. Some of the vaccines that use aluminum adjuvants include HPV, DTaP, DTP, hepatitis A, and influenza B.
You might not even realize you’re suffering from aluminum toxicity at first as some of the early symptoms are often attributed to other causes, such as dry skin, headaches and depression. It’s only when some of the more serious symptoms appear, like memory loss or muscular problems, that people realize something is amiss.
Aluminum can prevent your body from absorbing much-needed calcium, and it also impacts bone mineralization. It can cause brain inflammation and has been linked to a higher risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Other conditions that have been linked to aluminum include anxiety, insomnia, mood disorders, autism, cognitive deficit, ALS, and anemia.
In addition, aluminum accumulates in sperm cells. It has been linked to male fertility issues, with men with higher levels of aluminum having a lower sperm count and overall semen quality.
One of the worst aspects of aluminum is that it accumulates in your brain, kidneys, lungs, and liver. This means that even if your exposure is pretty limited on a day-to-day basis, all of the exposure that you can’t prevent adds up over time to cause significant damage.
Your first step should be to get rid of aluminum in your kitchen and home if you haven’t already. This means avoiding deodorants and medications with aluminum, replacing aluminum cookware with other materials, and avoiding food packaged in aluminum cans. That can help you prevent future exposure, but what about the aluminum that’s already in your body?
The Health Ranger recently announced on the Robert Scott Bell show that he’s developing a new product known as Aluminum Defense that will remove aluminum from your blood. It’s expected to be available in about three months, and it could help people avoid the very dangerous effects of aluminum toxicity. In the meantime, however, chlorella and cilantro can help you detox naturally to some extent. You can also drink water that contains a high silicon content as doing so has been shown in studies to help purge as much as 70 percent of the aluminum in your bloodstream.
Don’t let this dangerous neurotoxin build up in your body. Take steps to prevent future aluminum exposure, and look out for Aluminum Defense to detoxify your blood.
